Kukirin G2 Max Electric Scooter – 1000W 48V 20Ah 10” Off Road
The Kukirin G2 Max is the long-distance seated scooter in the G2 family — 1000W single rear motor, 34 mph loaded top speed, and a ~998 Wh battery good for up to 43 miles between charges. Same removable seat and key-ignition layout as the G2 Pro, but with proper grunt and a bigger battery for serious touring use. Aluminium frame, dual acceleration modes (smooth or punchy), 10" pneumatic tyres, indicators and a brake-flash taillight. The natural pick if you want to sit, ride further, and have more on tap than the G2 Pro can give.

FAQ
Can I ride it on the road? No. UK law currently makes privately-owned e-scooters illegal on roads, pavements and cycle lanes — regardless of speed or power. Ride only on private land where you have the landowner's permission.
Can I ride it without the seat? Yes. The seat is removable — fit it for longer rides, take it off for short hops or to make folding more compact. Four screws and a couple of minutes either way.
What's the real-world range? 43 miles is the manufacturer figure at mid-speed and 65 kg load. Hard riding in mode 3 with hills will bring it closer to 22–28 miles, which is normal for a ~1 kWh battery on a scooter this size.
How fast does it really go? Up to 34 mph with an average rider on flat ground. Lighter riders may see slightly more, hills will reduce it. Use the speed-limit menu setting if you'd prefer a software cap for newer riders.
What's the dual acceleration mode for? The display lets you pick between a smoother launch (gentler ramp-up — good for new riders or seated riding) and a punchier mode (quicker off the line). Different from the speed gears, which cap top speed.
Why is mode 1 only 9 mph? A genuinely slow first gear is useful when you're first getting the feel of a 1000W scooter, especially with the seat fitted. Step up to mode 2 (25 mph) once you're comfortable.
How does it compare to the G2 Pro? Same seated format and key ignition, but the G2 Max steps up to 1000W (vs 600W), 34 mph (vs 28 mph), and ~998 Wh battery (vs 749 Wh). Heavier — 31.7 kg vs 25 kg. Pick the Pro for short, light, comfortable trips; pick the Max for longer rides where you want real power and distance.
How does it compare to the G2 Master? The G2 Master is faster (37 mph), has dual motors, hydraulic suspension, and a slightly bigger battery (1081 Wh) — but no seat. The G2 Max is the seated single-motor alternative at lower price tier — smoother and more comfortable for distance, less aggressive off the line.
Why does charging take so long? 10–11 hours is normal for a ~1 kWh battery on the supplied 2A charger. Bigger battery = longer charge. Faster aftermarket chargers exist but reduce battery life over time.
What happens if I get a puncture? The 10" tyres are tubed pneumatic, more impact-resistant than tubeless but you'll patch or replace a tube rather than plug a sidewall. The included pump will get you home in a pinch. Tyres aren't covered by warranty.
