Warranty

Every electric scooter and e-bike sold by Ride Out is covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects.

What's covered

The warranty covers manufacturing defects on all parts of the product, including:

  • Motor and controller
  • Battery and battery management system
  • Display, lights, and wiring
  • Frame, folding mechanism, and structural components

What's not covered

  • Tyres and inner tubes — these are consumable items
  • Water damage, including damage from heavy rain or immersion beyond the product's IP rating
  • Crash damage from accidents, drops, or impact
  • Damage caused by misuse, modification, or unauthorised repair
  • Cosmetic wear (scratches, decals, grips)
  • Wear items (brake pads, bearings, cables)
  • Loss or theft

Revvi (kids' electric bikes) — warranty terms

Revvi products carry a 6-month manufacturer warranty from date of purchase, parts only (no labour).

Not covered under warranty:

  • Normal wear-and-tear parts: bearings, tyres, tubes, chains, sprockets, cables
  • Damage from improper assembly, maintenance, or storage
  • Use in wet conditions
  • Use other than recreation or transportation (no rental, no commercial use)
  • Any modification

How Revvi warranty claims work:

  • Email returns@ride-out.co.uk with photos, order number, and description
  • Approved parts are shipped free to UK and Ireland addresses
  • If the bike needs physical repair, customer arranges and pays return shipping
  • Repaired bike is returned at our cost

Revvi does not offer extended warranty. Any extended warranty purchased separately is honoured by the seller of that warranty, not by Revvi.

How to make a claim

Email warranty@ride-out.co.uk within 12 months of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Photos or video showing the problem

We'll respond within one working day. If the claim is approved, we handle the conversation with the supplier on your behalf and arrange one of: repair, replacement, or refund — depending on the issue, the part affected, and what's available.

For approved warranty claims where the product needs to be returned for assessment, return shipping is covered. For change-of-mind returns or claims found to be outside warranty, customer pays return shipping (see Refund Policy).

Your statutory rights

This warranty is offered in addition to your statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. Nothing in this warranty affects those rights, including the right to a refund or replacement for goods that are not as described, not fit for purpose, or not of satisfactory quality.
