Shipping policy

Quick summary
  • UK mainland and Northern Ireland.
  • Free standard delivery on all orders.

Where we ship

Ride Out currently ships to addresses UK-wide including mainland and Northern Ireland.  We do not ship to:

  • Channel Islands and the Isle of Man
  • BFPO addresses
  • International destinations

Delivery times

  • Spare parts and accessories: 2–3 working days via Royal Mail Tracked or courier.
  • Vehicles (scooters, bikes, dirt bikes): 2–5 working days via courier

Orders placed before 4pm on a working day are dispatched the same day where stock allows. Orders placed after 4pm, on weekends, or on bank holidays are dispatched the next working day.

Tracking

You'll receive a tracking link by email when your order ships. If you haven't received a tracking link within 24 hours of dispatch confirmation, check your spam folder or email support@ride-out.co.uk.

Couriers we use

  • Royal Mail Tracked 24 / 48 — most spare parts and small accessories.
  • DPD or Fedex — larger parcels, accessories.

Vehicle deliveries — what to expect

Larger vehicles (dirt bikes) ship on a wooden pallet via pallet courier:

  • The driver delivers to kerbside only. They will not bring the pallet inside the property.
  • Please check the carton condition before signing for the delivery.
  • If the carton is visibly damaged, note "damaged on delivery" on the courier's POD before signing and email us photos within 48 hours.
  • The courier will call ahead 30 minutes before arrival. You must be available to receive — failed deliveries incur re-delivery charges that are passed to the customer.

Damaged or missing items

If your delivery arrives damaged or with missing items, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos:

  • Email support@ride-out.co.uk
  • Subject: "Delivery damage — [your order number]"
  • Include photos of the carton (outside) and the item (inside)

Reports made more than 48 hours after delivery may not be accepted by the courier and limit our ability to resolve the issue.

Delivery delays

Most orders ship and deliver on time. Occasional delays happen due to courier issues, severe weather, or unusually high volume. If your order is more than two working days late on the estimated arrival date, contact us and we'll chase the courier on your behalf.

Failed deliveries

If you're not in when the courier delivers, they'll usually leave a card with re-delivery options. After three failed delivery attempts, the carton is returned to us and a re-delivery fee applies.

Pallet deliveries are particularly expensive to re-deliver (£40–£80). Please make sure someone over 18 is available to receive when you've been notified of the delivery window.
