1. About us
Ride Out is the trading name of Ride Out Supply Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17189632. Our registered office is at Lytchett House Unit 13 Freeland, Park, Wareham Road, Poole, Dorset, BH16 6FA. We sell electric scooters, e-bikes, kids' electric bikes, and parts via ride-out.co.uk.
2. These terms
These terms apply to all orders placed via ride-out.co.uk. By placing an order, you accept these terms.

3. Eligibility
To place an order on ride-out.co.uk you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid mainland UK delivery address
- Provide accurate billing and contact information
- Use a payment method registered to you
For products marketed for younger riders (kids' electric bikes), the purchase must be made by an adult on the child's behalf.
4. Order process
When you place an order:
- We send an automatic order confirmation email — this is not acceptance of your order.
- We may then accept the order by sending a dispatch confirmation email — this is when the contract is formed.
- We reserve the right to cancel any order before dispatch, including (but not limited to) where:
- The product is out of stock
- We suspect fraudulent or stolen-card use
- Pricing or product details on the site were displayed incorrectly
- The delivery address is outside our service area
If we cancel a paid order, we issue a full refund within 14 days.
5. Pricing and payment
- All prices include VAT at the prevailing UK rate (where applicable).
- Delivery is included as stated on the product page or at checkout.
- Payment is taken at order time via Shopify Payments, Klarna, or Shop Pay Installments.
- All prices are in GBP.
We try to display prices accurately, but if a clear pricing error occurs (significantly below market value), we may cancel the affected orders and issue a full refund.
6. Product information
We make every effort to display accurate product specifications, photographs, and descriptions. However:
- Slight variations in colour, finish, and component supply may occur between batches.
- Manufacturer specifications are subject to change without notice.
- Some product images are illustrative and may not exactly match the unit you receive.
- Real-world performance figures (range, speed, climbing) depend on rider weight, terrain, and conditions, and may differ from manufacturer-quoted figures.
7. Vehicle usage and legal compliance
It is the customer's responsibility to ride safely and within the law.
Most electric scooters and off-road bikes we sell are not road-legal in the UK. They are intended for use on private land only. UK e-scooter and dirt-bike law applies regardless of speed, power, or marketing claims. By purchasing, you confirm:
- You understand the legal status of the product as described on its product page.
- You will only ride on private land where you have permission, on dedicated trail centres, or on closed off-road circuits.
- You will use appropriate protective equipment (helmet, gloves, etc.).
- You will not modify the bike beyond manufacturer specifications.
For road-legal e-bikes (250W EAPC compliant), riders must be 14 or over.
We accept no liability for unlawful use, riding without consent on private land, or injury or damage arising from misuse, modification, or use by an inappropriate rider.
8. Warranty
All vehicles come with a 12-month manufacturer warranty handled by Ride Out. See the Warranty page for full terms and exclusions.
Spare parts come with a 90-day warranty against manufacturing defects unless otherwise stated on the product page.

10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Breach of consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any single order is limited to the value paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or business losses.
11. Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including (but not limited to) supplier failures, courier delays, severe weather, war, civil unrest, or government action.
12. Intellectual property
All site content (text, images, logos, designs) is owned by Ride Out or its licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, or use it commercially without permission. Manufacturer brand names and logos remain the property of their respective owners.
13. Account use
If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login details secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
14. Right to amend
We may update these terms from time to time. The version current at the time of your order applies to that order. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by English law. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
