The Revvi 20" is the biggest and most powerful Revvi in the range — a serious junior off-road bike for older kids and early teens. 36V 800W brushless hub motor, three speed modes topping at 22 mph, full suspension with 100 mm of front fork travel and an air rear shock, hydraulic disc brakes both ends, and 20" metal spoke wheels with aggressive knobbly tyres. Designed for ages 10+ who've already spent time on smaller electric or petrol bikes — this isn't a learner machine. The 36V 7.5Ah battery delivers up to 1 hour 30 minutes in mode 1, recharges in 2h 30min, and a 65 kg max rider weight covers most pre-teens and lighter teenagers comfortably.

FAQ
Is it road-legal? No. The Revvi 20 is a private-land off-road bike, not a road-legal vehicle. Don't ride on UK roads, pavements, cycle paths, bridleways or in shopping centres. Use only on private land where you have the landowner's permission, on dedicated trail centres, or on a closed off-road circuit.
What age does it suit? Designed for ages 10+, ideally with prior riding experience on a smaller electric or petrol bike. The seat adjusts from 68.5 cm to 86.5 cm — riders need a minimum inside leg of about 68 cm. Maximum rider weight is 65 kg, which covers most pre-teens and lighter teenagers (some 14- and 15-year-olds will still fit if they're under 65 kg).
How does it compare to the Revvi 18? A clear step up. 800W motor (vs 500W on the 18), 22 mph top speed (vs 19), 100 mm front fork (vs 80 mm), 65 kg max load (vs 50 kg), 7.5Ah battery (vs 5Ah), 20" wheels (vs 18"). About 3 kg heavier. The 18 is for ages 8–12 starting out; the 20 is the next bike for a confident rider who has clearly outgrown the 18 in size, skill, or both.
Is 22 mph really safe for a kid? 22 mph is fast — comparable to an adult e-scooter or a small moped. For a 10-year-old it's only safe with full PPE, supervision, and ideally prior experience on slower bikes. The lower modes (10 mph and 16 mph) exist precisely so parents can hold mode 3 in reserve until the rider has demonstrated competence at the lower speeds. Treat the speed dial like the keys to a car — earned, not given.
How does the suspension help? 100 mm of front fork travel and a 30 mm air rear shock absorb hits at speed that would put a rigid bike into the ground. The air-spring rear shock is also tunable — you can adjust the pressure to suit rider weight, getting the bike to sit at the right ride height regardless of whether a 35 kg or 65 kg child is on board.
How does the hub motor work? The 800W motor is built directly into the rear wheel hub, so there's no chain. Twist the throttle, the wheel spins. Quieter than a chain bike, less maintenance, and no chain to fall off mid-ride. The trade-off is the bike doesn't free-wheel as easily as a chain-drive bike — it'll feel heavy under leg power if the battery dies.
How fast does it charge? About 2 hours 30 minutes from empty. Slower than the Revvi 18 (1h 50min) because the battery is 50% bigger, but still quick enough to charge over a school day for evening or weekend riding.
What's the real-world ride time? 1h 30 in mode 1, 1h in mode 2, 35 min in mode 3 with constant throttle. Real-world play time is longer because riders stop and start. With a removable battery, swapping to a spare effectively gives unlimited ride time across an afternoon.
What rider experience does it assume? Time on smaller electric or petrol bikes, comfort with hydraulic brakes, and basic understanding of throttle control. A 10-year-old on their first powered bike should not start here — work up through the smaller Revvis (or equivalent) first.
How heavy is it for the rider to lift after a fall? 23 kg — too heavy for most under-12s to right unaided. Older riders manage fine. Parents should expect to help younger or smaller riders pick the bike up.
How does it arrive? Mostly assembled. Handlebars, possibly the front wheel, and final tightening with the included tools. About 20–30 minutes from box to first ride for a parent comfortable with basic spanner work.
