The Revvi 12" is a kids' electric balance bike — 100W brushed motor, twist-and-go throttle, two speed settings (around 5 mph slow / 10 mph fast), and a 9 kg aluminium frame designed for ages 2–6. The clever bit is the free-wheel rear: with the power off, the Revvi works as a conventional balance bike, so children can learn to balance the old-fashioned way before discovering the throttle. Removable 24V battery for easy indoor charging, a kid-sized rear drum brake, and a Number and Name Board kit in the box so they can put their own name on it.

What makes this different Free-wheel rear — works as a conventional balance bike with power off · Two speed modes (5 mph / 10 mph) · 9 kg aluminium frame · Twist-and-go throttle · Removable battery (charges in 2.5–3 hours) · Rear drum brake with kid-sized lever · Custom number/name board included · Multiple colour options

For ages 2–6 · Adult supervision required The Revvi 12 is a children's electric ride-on balance bike, not a road-legal vehicle. FAQ

Is it road-legal? No. The Revvi 12 is a children's ride-on toy, not a road-legal vehicle. Use it on private land — gardens, private trails, parks where private use is permitted. Don't ride it on public roads, pavements, cycle paths or in shopping centres.

What age does it suit? Designed for ages 2–6. The seat adjusts from 36 cm to 39.5 cm so it fits a 2-year-old learning to balance and still works for a 5- or 6-year-old who wants the throttle. Maximum rider weight is 30 kg.

How does the free-wheel mode work? Switch the power off and the rear wheel runs free, just like a conventional balance bike. Children push along with their feet, learning to balance and steer without the motor — the most important skill before they discover the throttle. When they're ready, switch the power on and they've got two speed settings to grow into.

Can the speed be limited for younger riders? Yes. The bike has a "slow" mode capping speed at around 5 mph, ideal for children just discovering the throttle. Switch to "fast" mode (around 10 mph) once they're confident.

How long does it run for? Around 1 hour 15 minutes of constant riding in slow mode, or 40 minutes in fast mode. Real-world play time is usually longer because children stop, start, and switch off the throttle. The battery is removable, so you can charge it indoors and keep a spare ready.

How long does it take to charge? 2.5–3 hours from empty. The supplied UK charger plugs into a standard mains socket.

What about the brake? A rear drum brake with a hand lever sized and tensioned for small hands. Children can practise braking from the start so it becomes a habit before they hit the fast-mode throttle.

Does it have suspension? No. The 12" pneumatic tyres provide enough cushioning for grass, gravel and packed dirt. Not designed for jumps or aggressive trail riding.

Is it heavy for a child to lift or stand back up? 9 kg is light for an electric ride-on — most children of 4 or above can pick it back up after a tip. Younger riders may need a hand from a parent.

How does it arrive? Mostly assembled. Handlebars, and any final tightening with the included tools. Around 10 minutes from box to first ride for a parent comfortable with basic spanner work.

Can I buy a spare battery? Yes — Revvi sells a 5.2Ah upgraded battery that doubles ride time. Contact us if you'd like one added to your order.
