Kukirin X1 Electric Bike – 1000W 48V 20Ah 20” Fat Tyre
The Kukirin X1 is a proper electric dirt bike — 1000W mid-drive motor with 2000W peak output, 181 Nm of wheel torque and hydraulic disc brakes front and rear. A 6061 aluminium frame keeps the kerb weight to 52 kg, and the 48V 20.8Ah swappable battery (just under 1 kWh) gives genuine all-day capability if you carry a spare. Quiet, low-maintenance and ready to ride out of the box — the sensible alternative to a petrol pit bike for adults and confident teen riders on private land.

FAQ
Can I ride this on the road? No. The X1 has no indicators or taillight, no type approval, and isn't legal on UK roads, pavements, cycle lanes or bridleways. Strictly private land or dedicated off-road tracks.
How long does charging take? 8.5–9 hours from empty on the included 136.5W charger. The battery is removable, so you can charge it indoors away from the bike.
Can I buy a second battery? Yes — pop a spare in your bag and double your day. Contact us if you'd like one added to your order.
What's the real-world range? Up to 25 miles in eco mode on flat, smooth ground. Trail riding in sport mode with hills will bring this closer to 12–15 miles, which is normal for a 1 kWh battery on a bike of this weight.
What's the seat height? 695 mm (~27.4"). Comfortable for adult riders 5'4" upwards. Younger or shorter riders should sit on one before buying.
How much assembly is needed? The bike arrives ~90% built. You'll fit the front fender, front wheel axle, footpegs and handlebars using the included tools. 20–30 minutes for a competent home mechanic.
Is it loud? No. Electric drive — quiet enough to ride on private land without annoying neighbours, which is the main reason most buyers choose it over a petrol pit bike.
Who's it suitable for? Adults and confident teen riders with adult supervision. It is not a beginner's first bike — 31 mph and 181 Nm of wheel torque is significantly more than any e-scooter you'll have ridden.
