Compact folding design, a 350W motor and 8-inch honeycomb tyres for private-land riding.

The KuKirin S1 Max pairs a 36V 10.4Ah battery with three riding modes in a compact, folding scooter. Solid honeycomb tyres avoid the need for inflation, while rear spring suspension helps take the edge off small bumps. With an advertised top speed of up to 15.5 mph and range of up to 24.2 miles, it offers a straightforward option for recreational riding on suitable private land.

Private land only. Use this scooter only on private land that is not accessible to the public, with the landowner’s permission. It must not be used on UK public roads, pavements or cycle lanes.

Understand the speed and range figures

Speed and range are advertised maximum figures, not guarantees. Rider weight, speed setting, gradients, temperature, battery condition and the riding surface all affect performance. Leave a comfortable battery reserve for every ride. Figures in mph and miles are rounded conversions of the manufacturer’s specifications.

Check your storage and riding space

Measure your storage area and car boot before ordering, and make sure you can comfortably lift the scooter. A folding stem reduces its height but not its weight. Choose a suitable private riding area, wear protective equipment and follow the supplied manual. This compact scooter should not be treated as a rugged off-road model.

Frequently asked questions

Can I ride the S1 Max on public roads?

No. It is for private-land use with permission, away from areas accessible to the public. Selecting a lower speed mode does not make a privately owned scooter road-legal.

Do the tyres need air?

No. The solid honeycomb tyres do not require inflation. They still need regular inspection for wear, damage and secure fitting.

Is it waterproof?

No. IP54 means limited dust and splash resistance, not waterproofing. Avoid standing water and follow the supplied manual’s weather, cleaning and charging instructions. Use the supplied charger or an approved replacement for the exact model.
