AOVO PRO AP07 Electric Scooter – 350W 36V 10.5Ah 8.5”
The AOVOPRO AP07 is the comfort-and-visibility upgrade of the entry AOVO range — same 36V 350W motor, same 12 kg folding frame, same 15.5 mph top speed and 18-mile range as the ES80, but with proper front and rear suspension to soak up bumps and dedicated left/right turn signals to keep you visible. The drum brake replaces the ES80's disc — slightly less outright stopping power but adequate at the default 15.5 mph speed. The pick when smoother ride and proper indicators matter more than maximum stopping force.

FAQ
Can I ride it on the road? No. UK law currently makes privately-owned e-scooters illegal on roads, pavements and cycle lanes — regardless of speed or power. Ride only on private land where you have the landowner's permission. The turn signals are useful on private trails or estates where there are other riders to signal to.
How does it compare to the AOVOPRO ES80? Same chassis, same motor, same battery, same weight, same range. The AP07 adds front and rear suspension (the ES80 is rigid) and left/right turn signals (the ES80 doesn't have indicators). The brake type changes — the AP07 uses a drum, the ES80 uses a disc. Pick the AP07 if you want a smoother ride and proper indicators; pick the ES80 if you want the better brake.
Why does the AP07 have a drum brake when the ES80 has a disc? AOVO's spec choice. Drum brakes are simpler, less expensive, and self-contained (no exposed disc to bend or get dirty). They have less outright stopping power and slightly more fade on long descents. At the default 15.5 mph top speed, the drum is adequate — but if you ride downhill regularly or want the firmest possible stop, the disc-equipped ES80 is the better choice.
How much difference does the suspension make? A real one if you're riding on anything other than smooth tarmac. Solid tyres + rigid frame (the ES80 setup) transmits every crack and pothole straight to your hands and knees. Solid tyres + suspension (the AP07 setup) lets the suspension do the absorbing instead of your skeleton. On gravel, paving slabs, or rough estate roads the AP07 is noticeably more comfortable.
How fast does it really go? Up to 15.5 mph at the default speed limit. The AP07 has the same manufacturer-set speed cap as the ES80; some configurations let you adjust it via the app, but we ship and recommend it at the default 15.5 mph.
What's the real-world range? 18 miles is the manufacturer figure for an average rider on flat ground at moderate speed. Hills, full throttle, headwinds, and a heavier rider will reduce that — typical real-world is 12–15 miles per charge.
How does the app work? The AP07 pairs to either the AOVOPRO app or Tuya Smart over Bluetooth. The app shows ride data (speed, distance, battery), lets you change settings, and includes a remote lock. Both apps are free.
How does cruise mode work? Hold the throttle steady for 10 seconds and the AP07 holds that speed automatically — release the throttle or touch the brake to disengage.
How do the turn signals work? Switch on the handlebar to indicate left or right. Auto-cancel after a few seconds, or push the switch back to centre to cancel manually. Useful on private trails or estates where there are other riders to signal to, even though the bike isn't road-legal.
How does it fold? Latch at the base of the stem releases — push the stem forward and it locks down to the deck for carrying or storage. About 5 seconds, no tools.
How long does it take to charge? 4–5 hours from empty using the supplied UK charger.
How does it compare to the Kukirin scooters? Different category. The Kukirin range (G2, G2 Pro, G2 Master, G3 Pro, G4) is performance and off-road — 28 to 43 mph, 600W to 2400W, 25 to 44 kg. The AOVOPRO AP07 is the entry commuter pick — 15.5 mph, 350W, 12 kg, app-connected. Pick the AOVO if you want something light and simple. Pick a Kukirin if you want serious speed or off-road capability.
How is it delivered? Pre-assembled and ready to ride out of the box. Just unfold, charge, and pair the app.
